Anne Hathaway On Wearing Size 6 Butt Pad For Her Role In The Devil Wears Prada

Hathaway shared that she lost some weight for the role of Andy Sachs. However, due to the weight loss, she had to wear a size 6 butt pad to give her character the much-required fuller figure.

Interestingly, Hathaway decided to keep the butt pad as a souvenir after the movie’s tremendous success at the box office, grossing $326 million worldwide. The Rachel Getting Married star even shared that her unique souvenir from the film is hanging inside her office.

“I lost quite a bit of weight for the film, just for the character but we still had to pad me up for the size six part so I had a butt pad and I took it at the end of the film. I’ve had it framed with a little plaque underneath it that says Andy’s as*. What was I thinking? Okay, breaking the glass and getting Meryl to sign it. It hangs in my office.”
