The cast of Stranger Things

Finn Wolfhard recently turned 20, and in an exclusive interview with GQ magazine, the young actor revealed how started having panic attacks when he was 15 or 16. People used to look at him and believed he is having a great career, and hence he had to avoid his feelings. He revealed that he had a panic attack while working on the sets of When You Finish Saving The World. Here’s what Finn Wolfhard said in the interview:

“I was so uptight and nervous about it, because I just was like, ‘This is the first movie [that I’m doing] as an adult.’”

“For me, I’m not concerned with being relevant at all, ever. I’m just concerned with the people around me and the jobs that I’m doing day-to-day. When things feel really overwhelming and big, it can feel even more big to kid actors who just feel like it all can be gone in an instant.”

“I’m like, ‘Yeah, you should. Actually, it’s necessary.’ He added “It’ll keep you alive. It’ll keep you better at your job, too.”

Finn Wolfhard revealed the real reason for his panic attacks and anxiety was when the series rose to fame and people started recognizing him everywhere he went; he had to deal with social media and Instagram followers. Moreover, he was also getting tagged by millions of fans around the world, where he saw edits of Mike’s moments in the series, and he did not know how to deal with so much attention.
