2019’s Joker is undoubtedly one of the best portrayals of Joker out there, and Joaquin Phoenix was much applauded for his pitch-perfect portrayal as the Clown Prince of Crime. The movie garnered much popular opinion and was highly rated by critic reviewers and also by the people who have watched it. The movie follows the story of Arthur Fleck, the failed clown and stand-up comedian who succumbs to his mental illness and violent nature, partly due to his workplace situation and also because of the circumstances he grew up in. Currently, Joker 2 is also widely discussed after some photos were leaked from behind the scenes of Joker: Folie à Deux.

Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker 2 Is Reportedly In Works

Recently, some images have surfaced and are roaming around on social media that might be leaked from Joaquin Phoenix‘s upcoming movie, Joker: Folie à Deux. Though there were many rumors previously regarding this matter, this time around, the news seems to be legit and the photos that were leaked also provide some information about the sequel. In one of the pictures, there seems to be more than one Joker present, and upon discovering this, fans are going crazy on social media forming theories about whether it will be a crossover movie or just a movie with numerous wanna-be Jokers.

To this date, no leaks or information about the upcoming movie has been released, but rumors and speculations are at an all-time high about the sequel. But one thing is verified, Joker: Folie à Deux will have Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn and some major development will be made in the movie, as fans are expecting a lot from it. And as usual, the sequel will also have Joker in the heart of Gotham City, either tearing apart the streets with chaos and destruction or laughing away strapped in his bed at Arkham Asylum.

Joker Was a Major Hit at the Box Office

Joker is a crime thriller movie starring many top-of-the-order actors like Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, Robert De Niro as Murray, and others. In the movie, the scene is set in 1981, where Arthur Fleck tries to pursue his career being a clown, which he miserably fails at, as he brings a gun to an occasion and gets fired for it. The failed society and corruption in the city was the main reason why Fleck broke down, succumbing to his mental illness, losing all rationality, and killing whoever blocks his path or makes fun of him. The movie was released on August 2019 and was declared one of the best movies of the year.

The movie was a major success at the box office, as with a mere budget of $55 million, the movie amassed a total of over $1 billion after its release worldwide. The movie was highly rated by everyone who watched it and also had a high IMDb rating of 8.4/10 which proves its value as one of the best. The movie won a lot of awards including, two Academy Awards, a BAFTA, Critics Choice Awards, a Golden Globe, the Grammys, and even a Guinness World Record.
