Addressing how she has been petite throughout her life, the singer admitted going through intense weight loss in preparation for her role in Wicked (2024).
Well, it wasn’t just the preparation part that made her lose weight. According to the singer, a major portion of her intense weight loss was attributed to negative comments on social media. Claiming to be affected by the online negativity, Ariana Grande admitted being on antidepressants, which directly impacted her health and weight. However, overcoming the dark times, Grande noted focusing on her well-being.
Sticking to a strict vegan diet, Ariana Grande admitted to going through a holistic transformative journey later on. Although the singer was being compared to the worst version of herself from the time she was on antidepressants, Grande issued a TikTok video, revealing how she went from eating junk around the clock to exercising daily and eating healthy.
