Entitled “Arnold”, the actor will serve as the “orator of his own story” as a former professional bodybuilder and politician. While the glitz and glamour of show business have always put him in a good light, Schwarzenegger will fearlessly unveil the stories of his failed marriage, alleged affairs, and open relationships.

Arnold Schwarzenegger And His Tempestuous Romances

Before he found fame in Hollywood, Arnold Schwarzenegger was a bodybuilder. In 1968, he met Barbara Outland whom he had a relationship. They frequently went to the beach and lived a simple life, but their romance did not last for long due to the actor’s profession.

Outland wanted to get married and have children, while Schwarzenegger was not into the idea. They broke up in 1975, and in his memoir, the actor wrote (via Mirror):

Basically, it came down to this: she was a well-balanced woman who wanted an ordinary, solid life, and I was not a well-balanced man and hated the very idea of ordinary life.”

Following the split, the Predator actor met Sue Moray, a Hollywood hairstylist. They engaged in an open relationship where they made specific arrangements. Moray told The Sunday Times:

When he was in town, he would be committed to me, and I would live with him and go to work from his house. But when he was out of town, we were free to do whatever we wanted and to date anyone else we wanted.”

This situation allowed Schwarzenegger to meet another lover, Maria Shriver. It was rumored that while in a relationship with her, he was also sleeping with other women. Despite the controversy, the couple pushed through with their marriage. They had four children named Katherine Eunice (1989), Christina Maria Aurelia (1991), Patrick Arnold (1993), and Christopher Sargent (1997).

The marriage did not stop the True Lies actor from having an affair with their family housekeeper. Mildred Baena gave birth to a son just five days after Shriver gave birth to her youngest child. Joseph, the illegitimate son, grew up looking exactly like Schwarzenegger. The truth came out in 2010.

This was Shriver’s last straw for filing a divorce from the actor after twenty-five years of marriage. The separation was finalized in 2021. Now, Schwarzenegger is currently dating Heather Milligan, who works as a physical therapist, since 2013.
