Most Assassin’s Creed fans will be looking more closely at the closer release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which is currently set to release on the 12th of October this year and will be taking the franchise back to its roots. However, further on the horizon there is another title that is being developed and has caught the eye of many fans. This is Assassin’s Creed Hexe, which at the moment, is still being developed and a full trailer hasn’t even released yet, it has still caused a buzz in the community.

There are a few reasons why many gamers are excited about this addition to the franchise as many fans have theorized that Assassin’s Creed Hexe will be set in 16th/17th century Germany. The reasoning behind this is because the codename Hexe translates to Witch in German, which has caused many fans to wonder whether or not this game will have a primary focus on witches and potentially a female protagonist.

This prospect has got many fans excited for Assassin’s Creed Hexe as even Ubisoft Montreals Talent Acquisition Specialist Yara Tabbara has made a post on LinkedIn teasing that this new addition to the franchise “will leave a lasting mark on the franchise.” and in response to a comment made has also stated that the game will have a “strong feminine energy” which has received a lot of positive reaction from fans.

At the moment there isn’t a lot of information in regards to the future Assassin Creed titles besides a few codenames. In the meantime, we have Assassins Creed Mirage, Jade, Red and Nexus to look forward to over the next few years. As far as we are aware, these games will still get the attention that they were going to get in the first place as Assassin’s Creed Hexe still has a lot of time in development to go through before we see anything else in regards to it.

Even though we have a few codenames for some of the upcoming releases from Ubisoft Montreal we also have a potential report detailing that we may also be having a remake of Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag, which will be developed by Ubisoft Singapore. This has got many fans extremely excited, as even though the Ezio trilogy is an amazing set of games, many fans are highly excited to be able to sail around in one of the best pirate games over the past few years.

What do you think about these pieces of information? Are you looking forward to Assassin’s Creed Hexe or is there another title your excited about? Let us know in the comments!
