Assassin's Creed Shadows faced some level of controversy but is shaping up to be a great gaming experience.

Ubisoft is once again betting big on one of its most successful franchises. Assassin’s Creed Shadows will fulfill a long-standing fan dream of a game set in Japan.

This particular title will feature two distinct protagonists with defined combat styles, each leveraging their advantages in battle. The protagonists will be a Ninja and a Samurai.

The gaming community wants the studio to take the opportunity to integrate a couple of things that Mirage did well, like the quick throw. A user demonstrated the functionality of this particular feature on the official Reddit forum.

Regrettably, the development teams’ idiosyncratic approach to managing these projects may lead to its elimination. If this is the case it will certainly disappoint fans of Mirage.

Ubisoft Should Look At What Previous Games Did Well

It is unlikely that developers will apply details and mechanics from a different game, especially one with a larger scope, to another. This is because the development teams worked separately from each other and likely did not communicate.

In a company as large as Ubisoft, with many divisions, this happens constantly, and fans might be disappointed by the lack of a quick throw mechanic.

However, one of the most notable aspects of Assassin’s Creed Shadows is that one of its protagonists, Naoe, will be a shinobi or ninja apprentice who will use all kinds of weapons related to this particular style, such as the famous shurikens. This means a similar feature may not be entirely out of the question.

It’s most likely that Yasuke, the male protagonist, won’t use throwing weapons because he is a traditional samurai.

This title will arrive on November 12 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game’s hype is palpable, and fans are very excited to see what a title in this franchise set in Japan will be like.

The possibilities are endless, and the studio has a fantastic opportunity to bring players back. In the future, the company already has several new installments of this IP planned for the coming years.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
