The nepotism debate in the entertainment industry has garnered a lot of heat over the years and the British singer Liam Gallagher has also decided to weigh his perspective on the situation. But unlike his brother, the 50-year-old had a more extreme response to the criticism.
People have been calling out Liam Gallagher for his roots inclined with nepotism after his three children, Lennon, Gene, and Molly Moorish, associated themselves with the entertainment industry. And the Whatever artist didn’t hold back while responding to those criticisms.
Liam Gallagher didn’t hold back while responding to the nepotism criticisms
Even though Liam Gallagher previously didn’t indulge himself in the debate surrounding nepotism, the singer finally let himself loose after people called out his kids for being privileged. After fans were ranting about Gallagher’s children getting the special treatment to land their mark on the entertainment industry, the singer didn’t hold back and deemed these people as jealous ugly f*cks. He stated,
“All this snizzle about famous folks kids out earning a crust at least they’re not out mugging old people zip it ya jealous ugly f*cks”
But unlike Liam Gallagher, who went on to deliver an extreme response to the situation, his estranged brother had a quite calm and composed answer to the whole “nepo babies” debate.
Noel Gallagher had a more calm and composed take on the situation
Unlike his brother, Noel Gallagher had a more tone-down response to the nepotism accusations made against the singer. Even though the singer expressed that he will keep on helping his children but clarified that they still have to be good at the thing to be successful. The singer also shared that he isn’t forcing his children to do something that they’re not good at and is letting them do what they what. While speaking about his daughter, he stated,
“But the whole nepotism thing, I mean it’s human nature to help your children out. I’ve never pushed her in any particular direction. I think if you’re knowingly just giving your kids something to do and they’re not really good at it, I don’t think that’s very healthy,”
Apart from the Gallagher brothers, many other celebrities have also weighed their opinion in the debate, including Lily Allen, Zoë Kravitz, and Jamie Lee Curtis. And considering the extreme criticisms against the subject of nepotism, the debate surrounding it doesn’t appear to slow down anytime soon.
