Attack on Titan is one of the best anime, featuring several twists that will send shivers down the spine. It kept the anime fandom on the edge of their seats with an excellent plot. The only thing that disappointed people is how Attack on Titan ended.
Fans raised their voices after reading the last few chapters of the manga. Hajime Isayama, the creator of Attack on Titan, was worried and did not want to disappoint the fans. So, he wrote a slightly different ending for the anime version of the series. Even though it is yet to be aired, at the time of writing, it has been confirmed that the anime will have a different ending instead of the controversial manga ending.
Attack on Titan To Have A Different Ending Than Originally Planned
Hajime Isayama began with the serializations of the manga in 2009 and wrapped it up in 2021. The manga was great and had its ups and almost no downs. But the ending was not satisfactory and left the fans divided and unsatisfied. So, the creator decided to give a different ending to the anime version of his magnum opus.
From Attack on Titan season 4, MAPPA studios took the animation task and did it gracefully. However, the season was broken up into different segments due to the controversial ending. Nothing was getting finalized. There was a rumor surrounding the changed end, and it finally happened. The anime will follow the tragedy in the manga but will have a different aspect.
It will be interesting to see how things shape up with the changes. Overall, Attack on Titan was great. Since it was such a great series, the fans did not want it to end in such a way. The character development of Eren Jaeger and its aftermath are awe-inspiring. For the moment, everyone is waiting for the anime finale to hit the streaming sites.
