Star Wars Outlaws by Ubisoft has finally dropped another trailer to give fans a preview of the story, editions available, and a release date of August 30. The game follows Kay Vess, a female scoundrel who has crossed paths with Zerek Besh, a very powerful crime syndicate in the galaxy.
Their leader, Sliro, wants Kay Vess gone as he’s aware of the rebellion developing under the Empire’s rule. With its engaging story, fans are looking forward to Ubisoft’s latest game dropping later this year. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora delivered an enjoyable experience for players. So, let’s hope the same can be done for Star Wars Outlaws.
Fan Reactions to Star Wars Outlaws
It’s been nine months since the world premiere of Star Wars Outlaws. Fans have been eager to see this game again and Ubisoft delivered it in the form of a Story Trailer. We get a better idea of who Kay Vess is and who she’ll be facing against.
It’s the open-world Star Wars game fans have been wanting for years now. While they won’t be playing as a Jedi, they’re still looking forward to playing as the newest female rogue in the galaxy.

Fans are impressed with how Star Wars Outlaws is looking so far. The game is dropping later this year on August 30th. Get three days of early access through the Gold or Ultimate Edition. It will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
Ubisoft’s Next Action-Adventure: Star Wars Outlaws
The project is being developed by Massive Entertainment who recently released Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Although that game received mixed to positive reviews, Star Wars Outlaws seems to be going bigger than any previous open-world Ubisoft game.
As seen in the world premiere gameplay showcase, you will be sneaking around enemy territory and shooting them down in gun fights. Use Nix to retrieve items or distract guards.
The main gameplay feature of Star Wars Outlaws is the different dialogue options which will open various paths depending on your choices.
In the newest story trailer, we learn more about Kay Vess and how she got on Sliro’s radar. It will be interesting to see how Star Wars Outlaws is able to deliver this narrative focused on a female scoundrel.
The narrative takes place in between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, explaining why we see Han Solo in carbonite. While it likely won’t touch too much on the main Star Wars continuity fans know and love, it will be nice to see what this other scoundrel in the galaxy is up to.
