On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Hollywood actor Chris Pratt shared his best wishes for all the mothers in his recent Instagram post, as he shared an image of him with his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, his mother, Kathy Pratt, and his mother in law Maria Shriver.
The actor said in the caption, “Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers out there.” The Jurassic World star further mentioned that he is grateful for “a wonderful partner” like Katherine Schwarzenegger. Pratt also said, “Our two daughters are so lucky to have you.”
He has been happily married to Schwarzenegger for almost four years and shares two daughters, Eloise and Lyla. He also thanked his mother for raising the family with “love and light and laughter.” Pratt also said that he is lucky to have Maria Shriver as his mother-in-law before wishing a Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers.

However, the sentence that caught everyone’s eye was the one referring to his wife as the “best step mama” to his son Jack, who he shares with his ex-wife and actress Anna Faris. People were quick to spot that he did not mention the Scary Movie star in his post and also accused him of shading Faris by referring to his wife as the best stepmother to his son.
Chris Pratt Gets Backlash For Shading His Ex-Wife
Chris Pratt and Anna Faris started dating in 2007 and tied the knot in 2009. They were married for eight years before the Passengers star filed for divorce in 2017. Reports suggested that the two are still on good terms and opted for the joint custody of their son Jack.
However, the recent Instagram post indicates otherwise, as Pratt did not mention Faris in the post. People were quick to spot the missing name from the post and called out the Moneyball actor. One user said, “Back at it again with the sh*ty treatment of his first family.”
Another pointed out how it would not have taken much for him to address the “mother of your first child,” and others said that Pratt seemed to have forgotten to mention someone else in the post as well. However, many also came to his defense, arguing that he does not need to involve his ex in everything.

Others also pointed out how The Dictator actress never shared a post about Pratt on Father’s Day after their split, so why does he need to acknowledge the same in his post? Many fans mentioned that maybe he wished her privately instead of mentioning it in a post, or maybe he didn’t, saying that it’s his personal matter and fans should not meddle in it too much.
