Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League had a rough start; the new Rocksteady game is not what fans were waiting for. But not all is lost; one very skilled streamer has put more than 1500 hours into Batman: Arkham Knight and has shown how much you miss the previous Rocksteady game.
Batman has a complicated cameo inside Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. This player, in less than 2 minutes, ends up with more than 5 enemies without being detected.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and a game that was destined to fail
Rocksteady surprised the industry when they announced Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League back in 2020 inside a DC FanDome presentation. Back in 2022, they showcased gameplay, with some fans backlashing about the weird system and looter-shooter aspects of the game; this led to the first delay of the game.
Slated to be released in 2023, the title dropped more videos about the gameplay, and again, they were not received like Warner thought. With this came the last delay for the game, which launched on February 2 of this year.
At the time of writing this article, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has 18 reviews on Metacritic with an overall score of 61. The Batman Arkham Trilogy has an average of 92 on Metacritic, making it one of the best-reviewed franchises. Warner and Rocksteady planned the game back in the superhero genre’s best moment; they never imagined people’s fatigue with this kind of content. But after the not-so-well reception of Marvel’s Avengers game, this possible grim future was real for the creators of the Arkham series.
The game aims to add new endgame content and much more content. They introduced the roadmap, promising new playable characters, more boss fights, and new playable environments. The Joker was shown in a new trailer that was also not liked by the fans. Rocksteady will add new episodes with very familiar villains from the DC universe.
Stealthy and how to be a real Dark Knight
The streamer known as Stealthy has a YouTube channel dedicated to showing how more than 1500 hours of playing Batman: Arkham Knight look. This content creator has many videos obliterating all its enemies without even getting hit or being discovered and in record time. He obviously has all the gadgets and weapons to unlock to use all the potential and tech of Batman and his millionaire alias.
In some of its videos, Stealthy has every challenge of Batman: Arkham Knight completely dominated without even flinching. This will be very nostalgic if you like the Arkham saga. For the moment, Rocksteady has no other projects announced. As for DC in general, there is a Wonder Woman game in development from Monolith, the creators of Shadow of Mordor.
