Vin Diesel clearly loves sequels, which is clearly evident from the Fast and Furious IP, but apart from it, he has also starred in several other major franchises, with one of them being xXx. Although the first xXx movie did decent numbers, the second one plummeted at the box office and was also bashed by the critics. But after 12 years, the actor joined forces with Indian A-list actor, Deepika Padukone, to revive the franchise with the release of xXx: Return of Xander Cage.
Even though the movie failed to score high among critics, it did decent at the box office and also gave Diesel’s costar a strong start in Hollywood. And it seems like her acting career, Padukone’s love life was also pretty great even before she found her footing in the industry.

Throughout her career, Deepika Padukone has been engaged in several high-profile relationships before eventually tying the knot with Indian actor Ranveer Singh. And one of her high-profile bonds included her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor, and the actress once got candid while giving an insight into her then-bond, claiming that she’d gift Kapoor condoms, implying he was pretty s*xually active.
“I would like to gift a pack of condoms to Ranbir because he uses them too much.”
Despite once being romantically inclined towards each other, the two parted ways back in the late 2000s, however, the two still remain great friends, even though the split-up was hard on Padukone.
Deepika Padukone is eying to mark her Hollywood return
Although Deepika Padukone is yet to make her return to Hollywood, considering it has been over 6 years since the Vin Diesel-led project hit the theatres, it seems her wait is almost over. According to reports, the actress is set to lead an untitled cross-cultural romantic comedy, which is currently being developed by STXfilms and Temple Hill, which is known for crafting the Twilight franchise. Reflecting on the subject, chairman of STXfilms Motion Picture Group, Adam Fogelson, explained,
“There is a reason Deepika is one of the biggest global stars to come from India. She is enormously talented with an infectious personality and her profile continues to grow as an international superstar,”
With the rom-com set to be co-produced by her, it’d be interesting to witness if this movie would be successful in pushing Deepika Padukone to global stardom or not.
