Fans have wondered how and when this character will be introduced to the rapidly growing Marvel canon. During an interview with the Associated Press, Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon spoke about Timothée Chalamet’s potential role in the MCU.

“I think he would be a good friend of Spider-Man. Or a foe of Spider-Man! I think it would be good to bring him in as a [friend] and then he kind of becomes bad, and then he can be a villain. He’d be a good villain.”
