Taylor Sheridan is an exceptionally talented writer-director. He has helmed a number of big-name projects like 1883, Hell or High Water, Those Who Wish Me Dead, and most famously, his work in the television series, Yellowstone. Not only has he directed the American neo-Western drama television show, but he is also the one who wrote it.

Being so well known for his work, it is quite surprising to find out that Sheridan once had a small part in one of the biggest science-fiction phenomenons to ever exist, only to have his work in the project go uncredited after an error.

Taylor Sheridan Wanted To Become an Actor

Taylor Sheridan does not act as frequently as he did early on in his career, focusing more on his writing and directing prospects than featuring in front of the camera, however, what many might not know is that he initially started out as an actor in the film industry. The actor and writer revealed during an interview that his initial plan when he was choosing his profession was to become a big movie star and star to do films on his own terms.

“The plan was always to become a big movie star, then move back to a ranch and just do movies with Martin Scorsese when I felt like it. But that wasn’t my path,” he stated

These terms were mentioned by the actor, who stated that after he became famous, he wanted to move to a farm and work on projects with directors like Martin Scorsese when he felt like it. This obviously did not happen, however, Sheridan does not seem all too spiteful about it, stating that this particular type of life was clearly not his path.

Taylor Sheridan Was Part Of A Star Trek Project

Like most actors, Taylor Sheridan started his work through smaller roles, appearing as the most irrelevant and inconsequential characters in mediocre films. Among their projects, however, was a surprising contender. It would seem that Sheridan appeared on an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise, where he played Jareb, a Triannon member of a religious zealot group led by Pri’Nam D’Jamat. The Triannons were a kind of humanoid species that hailed from planet Triannon.

Their technology was not very impressive compared to that of the Starfleet, so much so that they did not even have transporters. They were very occupied with their own version of gods that they called ‘Makers’, they believed who created the Delphic Expanse spheres. Unfortunately, however, for the fans of Sheridan and himself, his already very short appearance on-screen in the episode, titled Chosen Realm, ended up being left uncredited in this role after his name was misspelled as ‘Tayler Sheridan’ in the credits of the episode
