Now Powell, along with his co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones, have decided to do a promotional stunt at the annual Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project Block Party that will make some fans feel claustrophobic.

The trailer added to the film’s hype, and a ton of people found the flick’s premise appealing, as it glorified tornadoes, and a disaster film like 2012 is loved by the viewers.

Powell and Edgar-Jones have been tirelessly promoting the movie, and even at the annual Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project Block Party, they decided to do a marketing stunt.

A video shared by The Hollywood Reporter on X showcased the stars entering a Twisters wind machine, which was a narrow and tight chamber that made the fans feel claustrophobic.

Despite the stunt seeming completely harmless, the gate can get stuck, and a lack of precautions could have made things messy. As a result, some movie fanatics were extremely dissatisfied with how the upcoming disaster film is doing their promotion.

The stunt seemed too silly to the fans, as they bombarded social media with overwhelmingly negative opinions, where they blasted the promotional stunt, calling it incredibly awkward and lame.

However, some fans praised the stunt as they shared how watching the promotional events for the film seemed incredibly intriguing. They tweeted,

In spite of the stunt feeling extremely lame and inciting a feeling of claustrophobia among the viewers, the fans could not get enough of how the stars had incredible chemistry, and they could not get enough of it.
