Rising quickly through the ranks of Hollywood, Glen Powell has become one of the hottest names in the entertainment industry. Working in Tom Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick and his most recent smash-hit blockbuster Anyone But You, also featuring Sydney Sweeney, had far-reaching effects.
Naturally, all eyes are on him, and now the man of the hour has returned with another intriguing project titled Twisters. The film tells the story of a group of storm chasers, trying to stop a tornado before it totally destroys Oklahoma.
The film has piqued the interest of countless movie fans as it tells a story similar to the 1996 film of the same name. Nonetheless, the project looked phenomenal, which even brought Tom Cruise to come forward and support his co-star.
Now Powell, along with his co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones, have decided to do a promotional stunt at the annual Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project Block Party that will make some fans feel claustrophobic.
Glen Powell’s and Daisy Edgar-Jones Perform a Promotional Stunt For Twisters
Despite having low hopes for the film, initially, it quickly managed to turn the fans around, as Glen Powell did not hesitate to comment on his film being an original and not a reboot or continuation of the 1996 film featuring Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton.
The trailer added to the film’s hype, and a ton of people found the flick’s premise appealing, as it glorified tornadoes, and a disaster film like 2012 is loved by the viewers.
Powell and Edgar-Jones have been tirelessly promoting the movie, and even at the annual Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project Block Party, they decided to do a marketing stunt.
A video shared by The Hollywood Reporter on X showcased the stars entering a Twisters wind machine, which was a narrow and tight chamber that made the fans feel claustrophobic.
Despite the stunt seeming completely harmless, the gate can get stuck, and a lack of precautions could have made things messy. As a result, some movie fanatics were extremely dissatisfied with how the upcoming disaster film is doing their promotion.

Hence, a ton of fans are incredibly excited to watch the disaster film as soon as it hits theaters.
