Film Insiders And Critics Praise The Flash After CinemaCon Screening
The Flash was initially met with apprehension from the DC fanbase as well as general audiences due to rumors about it supposedly rebooting the franchise. To make matters worse, Ezra Miller’s behavior in the weeks leading up to the release cast a dark shadow over the film. This was amplified by reports of Henry Cavill’s originally shot cameo being deleted from the film.
But as per film critics and industry insiders who attended CinemaCon, it looks like the movie is worth the hype that David Zaslav and James Gunn were trying to create around it. Here are the reactions:
The Flash is hands down one of the best superhero films of all time. No joke, The Flash is the ultimate movie going experience as it has a little bit of everything! #TheFlash is fantastic. I know Ezra Miller has made a lot of mistakes but they are soooooo good in this movie. Loved Keaton, the action, humor and emotion. Andy Muschietti has crafted something special. Thumbs way up.

Caught an unfinished cut of #TheFlash and dug it quite a bit! Especially how the narrative challenges Barry to confront who he is, who he could have become, and how one’s influenced by the people in (or not in) their life.

However, some criticisms still remain of the film. Fans are unsatisfied with the unfinished-looking CGI shown in the second trailer of the movie. CinemaCon audiences were warned that the film’s CGI is incomplete, yet DC fanatics are worried if these issues will even get fixed in time for release.
Others are worried that the film might not match the high expectations WB has set. Many also think that industry insiders are hyping up a mediocre film. Everyone will get to know the truth when The Flash finally premieres in theaters.
The Flash will release on 16 June 2023.
