Bella Ramsey Is Excited For More Intense Stuff In The Last of Us Season 2

Not just the fans but The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey is extremely excited for season 2 of the show. “Lots of things. I’m excited for the really intense stuff, because I did a bit of that in Season 1 obviously, but to do that,” Ramsey told Collider

“And actually more physical scenes because Ellie is obviously more physically fit in Season 2. I love stunt stuff, and like waking up with bruises the next day, and finding myself with a black eye, just because it feels like so good to have done it.”

Further, the actor said that she’s looking forward to the action. “So I’m looking forward to doing that stuff, and also the Dina storyline,” she added. The Emmy-nominated star is also excited about exploring her character and sexuality. In the first season, he had one episode Left Behind, dedicated to her romantic angle. Because “obviously, I had the one episode in Season 1 with Ellie and Riley, but to have it as a storyline throughout the whole of the second game in terms of Ellie and Dina is really exciting,” she added. The second season of the show is likely to follow the continuity of the original game which is set to begin production after being delayed by the strike in Hollywood.

Bella Ramsey Gave a Production Update For The Last of Us Season 2

Ramsey spoke to Collider to promote her upcoming animated feature Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget revealing great details of The Last of Us Season 2. The actor revealed that the production for the show will begin in the early part of 2024. “Next year. No, I do actually know. I mean, I temporarily know,” Ramsey told the outlet.

“Things are changing all the time, I think with the strikes, obviously now they’re finished, that’s amazing and we can actually get going and we can talk about it, but I think it’s delayed a couple of things, and availability and stuff. So we’ll see, but it will happen at some point early next year, which is exciting,” she added.

An exciting update for the fans of the show and the video game alike. The season 2 of the show is scheduled to premiere in 2025. Ramsey’s Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget is set to release on 8 December 2023.
