Years before Ben Affleck’s Gone Girl took the world by storm, Harrison Ford’s Presumed Innocent is what attracted the audiences to the screen with its gritty murder thriller adventure story. Surprisingly, the plots of both movies are shockingly similar. Whether it’s by accident or not is up for debate, as the makers never discussed Ford’s movie as the inspiration behind the 2014 film. Somehow, even though they have not worked together at all in their long and extensive careers in Hollywood, both actors have managed to have more than one thing in common.

And surprisingly, at the conclusion of each story, everything works out since, the husbands decide against divorce or pressing charges, recognizing their own flaws.

And although it is bizarre to think about, it is quite common in Hollywood to unknowingly repeat stories and sometimes even in the same year, such as Armageddon and Deep Impact or The Illusionist and The Prestige. However, this isn’t the only thing the Batman actor and the Indiana Jones actor have in common.
