Ben Affleck Loved Zack Snyder’s Version Of Batman

Zack Snyder’s Justice League brought to fans a movie that had been demanded ever since Joss Whedon’s version of the movie was first released. “The genius, and the silver lining, is that Zack Snyder eventually went to AT&T and was like, ‘Look, I can get you four hours of content.’ And it’s principally just all the slow motion that he shot in black and white. And one day of shooting with me and him. He was like, ‘Do you want to come shoot in my backyard?'”

Affleck hopped in without a thought and he loved what Zack Snyder did with his Batman. From the first movie to the last, it had been an incredible journey. If anything, the director was able to redeem Affleck’s character in the four hours that the movie played out.

“You could teach a seminar on all the reasons why this is how not to do it. Ranging from production to bad decisions to horrible personal tragedy, and just ending with the most monstrous taste in my mouth.”

It only worsened things for him and critics were nowhere near kind about the movie either. Working with Whedon put him in a bad place in life and he only saw himself getting worse had it not been the thought of his children and family keeping him near sanity.
