Ben Affleck joined the DC Universe in the year 2016 and plays one of the most beloved heroes in the franchise. He has nailed the role of Batman in every single movie. After the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, his future became uncertain in the DC Universe. Affleck made his debut in the beloved franchise with the film, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice alongside fan-favorite superhero Superman, played by Henry Cavil.

Even though fans had no idea if Affleck is ever going to wear the Batman suit again, a few months ago, some reports about his return gave hope to his fans. Now though it’s confirmed, he will be appearing in two upcoming DC films, The Flash, and Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom.

But later on, The Flash actor went personally to apologize to Warner Bros for bringing unfavorable attention through controversy.

But after a few months, Jason Momoa made a surprising announcement about the return of Ben Affleck’s Batman. The Aquaman actor took to Instagram to inform fans that Bruce Wayne will return in his upcoming sequel. It’s not confirmed as of now whether Ben Affleck’s journey as Batman will come to an end after The Flash and Aquaman 2 or not.

But as Warner Bros is restructuring its business, so there is still a little hope to see him once again in the future.

The Flash will hit theatres on July 16th, 2023. Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom will arrive in theatres on December 25th, 2023.
