Three years before starring in The Big Bang Theory, which would make her a TV sensation following her portrayal of Penny in the acclaimed show, Kaley Cuoco got herself breast implants. Not only did it help in making the 8 Simple Rules star feel more secure about her body, but it also contributed to making the actress a sitcom bombshell.
Moreover, The Flight Attendant star hasn’t shied away from bringing attention to the plastic surgeries she has undergone over the years and stressed that it’s the best decision she ever made.
Getting Breast Implants Was Kaley Cuoco’s Best Decision
There’s a notable shift in Kaley Cuoco‘s physique from her stint in 8 Simple Rules to 2007’s The Big Bang Theory, which was a result of the breast implants she got at the age of 18. Moreover, instead of brushing this subject aside, Cuoco has been pretty vocal about her plastic surgeries, which also involved a nose job.
Speaking about it, the actress stressed it’s the best decision she has ever made. She said (via Women’s Health):
Years ago, I had my nose done. And my b–bs — best thing I ever did. Recently I had a filler in a line in my neck I’ve had since I was 12.
While she understands the importance of loving one’s inner self, Cuoco shared she “also wants to look good”. Further elaborating on it, The Flight Attendant star explained that while one shouldn’t delve into it to impress others, Cuoco isn’t against it if it helps boost a person’s confidence.
As much as you want to love your inner self … I’m sorry, you also want to look good. I don’t think you should do it for a man or anyone else, but if it makes you feel confident, that’s amazing
The actress also takes her health pretty seriously, as considering she is no longer 21, Cuoco expressed it’s important to cut things down as she gets older.
Kaley Cuoco’s First Major TV Role After TBBT Was Challenging Due to One Factor
After becoming a sitcom sensation, post-TBBT, the actress hasn’t backed down from taking more dramatic roles, which pushed her acting chops to the test, especially with her stint in The Flight Attendant. Reflecting on the HBO show, Cuoco recalled having a really hard time during the intimate scenes, as opposed to the s-x scenes in TBBT, the ones in The Flight Attendant were more raw and grounded.
She said:
I had scenes like that on Big Bang, but this was like a true s*x scene. I told Michiel, ‘I’ve never done this before. Have you done it before?’ He goes, ‘Yeah, like 30, 40 times. And I was like, ‘What?’
But despite her inexperience in terms of filming grounded s-x scenes, thanks to her costar Michiel Huisman, Cuoco was able to pull them off.
