As to why players want this weapon in the game (besides the speculation about lore accuracy), Breechshot is just a fun weapon. For those who played Gears of War: Judgement, this is the only thing that made the game fun, despite being a poorly balanced weapon (too overpowered).
The Coalition Has Huge Shoes to Fill
For Gears of War: E-Day, The Coalition is taking back its reign over the title and is looking to prove that the upcoming game will be one of the best titles in the whole franchise, dethroning Gears of War 3.
Regardless, fans are very glad the franchise is making a huge comeback, and are, so far, loving everything about E-Day. It seems as though they can’t wait to get their hands on it.
To find this kind of success, developers will likely first need to start by listening to all the player feedback and then start innovating accordingly. By doing this, The Coalition not only ensures that players are engaged but also that shows them the developers care about their opinions.
In the end, the release date of Gears of War: E-Day is still unknown and players can only speculate what will be in the game or not.
