Bethesda Chief Pete Hines had an important piece of advice for Starfield players that he shared at the Gamescom 2023 Xbox live stream. He said, “My one piece of advice for folks is: do not ignore your activities. It feels like throwaway stuff that the game is giving you, but there is some amazing stuff in there that doesn’t even feel like a real quest but will take you to some amazing places, some amazing stories.”

He further added, “We encourage you to play this like any Bethesda game. Do what you want, go where you want, and test the game. Be the kind of person you wanna be in this world and see what happens.”

This means that the gamers must pursue the Activities alongside the main quest and faction quests if they want to get the most out of their gaming experience in Starfield. Pete Hines has also claimed that he had played the game for about 160 hours and the game only gets going after players are done with the main quest. This could also be seen as Hines just hyping up the game, and it remains upon release if it lives up to the hype.

Game Director Todd Howard also spoke on a new feature in Starfield

Before Pete Hines voiced his confidence towards the game, Game Director Todd Howard also spoke about the game. He said that the game has a New Game+ feature that will be a new thing in Bethesda titles as any previous games from the renowned developer hadn’t had a New Game+. He also remarked about the game having surprises for the gamers that are not revealed to the audience.

This is pretty much understandable as developers haven’t really revealed much about the game during its years-long development process and considering the massive size of the game, it will surely have some surprises up its sleeve. However, Starfield fans do not have to wait much longer to find out. Starfield is set to release on September 6, 2023, for Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
