After 15 years apart, the legendary British band Oasis has confirmed an “Oasis reunion,” sending the whole music world into a frenzy. Considered one of the best bands to come out of the United Kingdom in the last 40 years, they famously split up in 2009 due to the feud between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, the two stalwarts of the group.
The reunion confirmation has made the band one of the biggest headlines, and even the gaming world hasn’t shied away from showing their support. Bethesda has also joined the bandwagon, posting a photo from Fallout 76 showcasing their love for the British band.

If we talk about Britpop in its core essence in the 90s, it’s hard to think of anyone than Oasis. The legendary group hailing from Manchester dominated the music industry throughout the 90s and solidified its status as one of the greatest ever.
The band’s first two albums, “Definetly Maybe” and “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” went on to become super popular, consisting of many chartbusters. Songs like Live Forever, Whatever, Don’t Look Back in Anger became local anthems and have been a staple of British rock culture ever since.
Wonderwall went on to become a global hit, even ranking amongst the top 100 most streamed songs on Spotify. It’s fair to say that the reunion news is one of the biggest happenings in pop culture. Furthermore, even the gaming world is cheering for the band, with Bethesda posting a sweet tribute in their own style.
The company posted an image on their socials of what looks like a location marked as “Oasis” from Fallout 76. Although nothing significant, the caption “I said maybe” only makes the whole thing poetic. If anyone is wondering, the line is synonymous with the band and is from their mega-hit Wonderwall.
Fans Patiently Wait for Fallout 5
While everyone is cheering for the band, fans are also looking forward to Fallout 5. The last game in the series was released back in 2018, and it’s due time for the next installment to make its mark.
Unfortunately, it seems we are very far away from any significant information regarding the game, let alone the release. According to multiple reports, the developing team is currently occupied with Starfield, and then they have to work on The Elder Scrolls 6.
The timeline for the release of the game is still unknown, but it’s definitely far away. Regardless, it’s unlikely that we will hear anything relevant regarding the game anytime soon, so fans will have to content themselves with existing games and mods.
