It is a nice and cool feeling to look like a menace in a video game with little effort. Game Science has put extra effort into the game’s camera work and applied a similar technique pioneered by Santa Monica Studio with a seamless transition from gameplay to cinematics.
This camera trick was implemented in the recent God of War games to avoid removing the players from the moment and to keep it smooth and consistent. Players will appreciate the developers’ efforts to add this feature from a popular gaming franchise with a similar tone for a sense of familiarity.
Black Myth: Wukong Fans Are Ready to Wreak Havoc in the Game
The gaming community is adamant that this game could be a step in the right direction for modern video games inspired by the success of the Soulslike genre. Some fans are bold enough to claim that Black Myth: Wukong will be better than Elden Ring which is a tall order for a universally praised game.
Players have different playstyles which can be catered to in the game. The brief clip shows a player walking up toward an enemy and deflecting incoming projectiles with ease as he approaches and delivers a killing blow which is enough to send shivers down the spine of anything else that would dare to go up against the Destined One.
The Soulslike genre has set a precedent where players must exercise extreme caution as they approach an enemy and that could take away points for looking like the part of a great hero. In Black Myth: Wukong, the player has the upper hand against enemies.
Looks can be deceiving and most forget that it is an asset. This feature will allow players to feel even more immersed and augment their experience further.
