You’ll find this boss in the Bamboo Grove after traveling from the Black Hills to the Snake Trail checkpoint. Run through the fodder enemies until you arrive at an open forest area and stairs leading to the boss arena. Upgrade your skills, such as Immobilization, awakening Sparks for more stamina, and your armor for the fight. After all, being a menace in the game is one of the most enjoyable aspects of Black Myth Wukong!

Guangmou is not a very difficult boss but can get tricky at times. Unlike Lingxuzi, physical damage is not the primary attack, and the battle will start with him casting a blue fireball.

Sneak in a few hits after the dodge, and then Immobilize him to whittle his health down. Once you reach a certain point, he will call in his army of snakes for reinforcement. Prioritize evading the poison projectiles from these serpents over dealing damage to the boss.

The boss will use tracking projectiles and a poison breath attack, which can be easily avoided. It’s important to stay on your feet and apply pressure to the boss to ensure consistent DPS. Since he has a limited arsenal of attacks, you should have him down easily.

The ancient Chinese epic has been incredibly influential. It’s the foundational work on which giants such as Dragon Ball and One Piece have been built, and Black Myth Wukong has changed how people would expect this tale to be handled. Some critics have even suggested the game could be a sequel to the Chinese tale.

The Destined One may be modeled after the Monkey King in many ways, but he differs from the titular protagonist. This has led many to believe that the game has the potential to spawn future releases and renditions, as many would want to experience more of this world.

Wukong has shattered many records, becoming the most-played single-player title in Steam history in just a day. It has even beaten out various long-standing titles such as Palworld, Helldivers 2, and Cyberpunk 2077. With a New Game+ mode available, the reign of the Destined One will continue.
