How to Know If You Are Poisoned in Black Myth Wukong?
You’ll first deal with the poison status effect in the early stages of Black Myth Wukong. Several enemies can end up poisoning you in Chapter 1, and it might just happen without you even realizing it. There are a few indications you must watch out for to keep yourself safe.
The first one is a small green icon right underneath your health bar. If your health is continuing to decline, and there are no enemies nearby, check for this green icon, as you’re likely poisoned.
There’s another obvious Black Myth Wukong poison indicator. The Destined One will be surrounded by a green mist, which is easy to see.

Well, if you’re poisoned and your HP is dropping, you have a couple of options. The first one is to head to a Keeper’s shrine, where you can often fast-travel. All you need to do is rest up and heal any status effects, including deadly poison.
The second way to cure poison in Black Myth Wukong is by using Antimiasma Powder. This item can instantly remove poisoned status and even increase your resistance to it for a short duration!
In the early stages of the game, you can find this item around the world as you explore it, and it can be purchased at the Keeper’s Shrine. After you’ve unlocked the ability to craft medicines by finishing the Xu Dog’s quest in Chapter 2, you will be able to instantly get Antimiasma Powder with one Jade Lotus and One Tree Pearl.
Once you’ve obtained the cure in your inventory, it will automatically show up in your on-hand items. So, all you need to do is hold Q/RT/R2 to access and use it. You can also directly use it from your inventory if you want to.
Of course, you can prevent being poisoned in the Journey to the West-inspired game by ensuring that you’re wearing resistance gear when facing off against poisonous foes. For example, the Serpentscale Braces come with poison resistance, which can save you in sticky situations.
