The amount of follow-up fans have received on the Bloodborne franchise since its release in 2015 is simply not enough for what was expected from the collaboration of Sony and FromSoftware.

Keeping aside the much-wanted sequel to the game, fans have also been looking forward to the game getting a remaster and possibly a port to PC. Unfortunately, an official PC port remains a dream for now, and fans will have to make do with the recent Elden Ring mod that has been going viral for bringing back the gothic charm to The Lands Between.

Called Graceborn, this mod is created by corvianNoctis, a user on the Nexusmods forum. Upon downloading and installing it, your world of Elden Ring would look much different than before, as the mod brings a complete overhaul to the level design of the game, bringing in the gothic and plagued city vibes once again.

What makes this mod worth checking out is how it also switches up the character designs of the enemies and weapons in the game to make it completely resemble the 2015 title, making it possible to take a Bloodborne PC experience before it is even officially announced.

Apart from the Seamless co-op mod, Graceborne is without a doubt going to be the most loved mod of Elden Ring, keeping in mind how it partially delivers an experience many fans have been yearning for for nearly a decade.

What Is the Future of Bloodborne?

It is disappointing that, despite being Hidetaka Miyazaki’s favorite creation, Bloodborne is unlikely to get an update to the franchise in the future, making the director’s latest creations such as Shadow of the Erdtree and mods like Graceborne the only way to cope.

So far, neither of the parent studios behind one of the most successful PlayStation Exclusives to date have stepped forward and announced what comes next for the franchise, which should be enough for fanatics to take a hint and move on.

Alternatively, what one can do is play Lies of P instead, a soulslike title by Neowiz that is often called the spiritual successor of Bloodborne and is termed the only ‘real competition’ FromSoftware has had to date. What makes it better is that the game has a DLC on the way as well.

Will you be downloading Graceborne to enjoy a port never officially done by Sony? Make sure to let us know about it in the comments below!
