Previously, Gunn responded to questions about whether Chris Pratt and Pom Klementieff could join the DCU on his personal Threads account by saying,
“There are reasons I wouldn’t want either of those actors to play themselves in the DCU!”
And the fans just ran with it, speculating that Gunn might indeed be seriously considering the introduction of both actors as some ”fictional” character into the universe.
However, just recently, Gunn added more fuel to the fire by claiming that Chris Pratt had already graced the Superman set with his presence.
In an Instagram post, Gunn announced how thrilled he was that the Phyla-Vell actor, Kai Zen chose to spend an entire day on the set, referring to her as “our favorite guardian of the galaxy,” and apologizing to Pratt for snatching that title away from him.
Responding to a comment, he revealed that Pratt had already paid a visit to the set, stirring up even more excitement and speculation among fans, stating,
“He was already here taking things over for a day!”

Fans speculate that Chris Pratt might be suited for various roles in the DC cinematic reboot, including The Flash, Shazam, or Booster Gold amongst many others if the actor ever decided to jump ships.

While confirming any of this remains difficult, fans are certainly enjoying letting their imagination run amuck.
