The recent Oscar Award winner and the most wild and gutsy filmmaker, Christopher Nolan has set an unattainable standard for all other movie makers in the world. Known for movies like Interstellar, Inception, The Prestige and Oppenheimer, the British-American director has changed the perspective of cinema lovers towards filmography.
However, as absurd as it may sound, some actors turned down the offer of featuring in one of Christopher Nolan’s masterpieces. These actors were none other than the former popular celebrity couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Christopher Nolan Could Not Get Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to Act in Memento

The thriller movie has 94% on Rotten Tomatoes even after almost 24 years of its release. However, there’s a more surprising fact about the movie. When Guy Pearce came to know about the script and read it (via Empire). He was so impressed with it that he called Nolan to make his interest known and got the role.

Before finally playing the iconic role in The Dark Knight, Ledger said (via Indie Wire):
“I would never take a part in a superhero film.”
