The 2023 is almost over, meaning it’s the perfect time of the year to do one of two things. People can watch the closing chapter of the DCEU, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom which has the potential to ruin their weekend. On the other hand, they can simply choose to celebrate the hottest stars Hollywood has blessed us with this year.
For our sanity, we have decided to take a look at Ranker‘s survey about the most handsome male celebrities and actors of 2023.
First and foremost, it’s only fair to talk about the seemingly permanent member of such polls, Brad Pitt. The Oscar-winning actor didn’t grace the big screen this year but still, his aura managed to push his name in the list in the 13th position. That in itself is a surprising departure from his usual dominance with respect to such lists.
Another surprising result from the survey, which is based on public votes, is the absence of Tom Holland and Ryan Gosling‘s names in the top five. At the time of writing, the MCU’s Spider-Man has only reached the seventh position. Meanwhile, Barbie’s favorite Ken is currently sitting in the 12th position.
Top 5 Hottest Hollywood Stars of 2023
Supernatural fame Jensen Ackles has surprisingly managed to sneak into the top five, leaving Pitt, Holland, and Gosling in the rearview mirror.
Former on-screen Captain America Chris Evans – who starred opposite the very beautiful, Ana de Armas, in Ghosted this year – is fourth, and just behind former Superman, Henry Cavill.
The fierce battle for the top position is going on between Chris Hemsworth and Michael B. Jordan. Until 19th December, the Creed actor was holding onto the top spot, but in recent days, the Thor star has overtaken him.
It’ll be interesting to see if Hemsworth maintains his grip on the title of 2023’s Hottest Male Celebrity – akin to how Thor held his Mjolnir – until the end of the survey.
