The former owned 60% of the shares whereas the latter owned 40%, When they got married, this changed as 10% of Pitt’s percentage was gifted to Jolie, making them 50-50 partners. While the sentiment was sweet and thoughtful, everything changed after they split.
Jolie ended up selling her shares of the property without the approval of Pitt, which resulted in him filing a lawsuit. This led to a very unfortunate and gruesome back-and-forth between the two, with the law watching from the sidelines. Eventually, Jolie’s company even sued Pitt for $350 million in damages.

It would seem that the most latest news of this matter, Brad Pitt has come out victorious. It was revealed by a source to Page Six that Brad Pitt has been granted an advantage in the situation.
“He owned 60 [percent] and she owned 40 [percent]. When they got married, it was a conversation where everything was all roses [at the time]. The agreement was for her to get 10 percent from him, a 50/50 agreement that they reached for one euro. It was symbolic of their partnership.” The source went on, “For now, he maintains a 60/40 [split],” which means, “he maintains control of this until probably another year, or more,”
The Luxembourg court awarded 10% more of ownership over the French winery until the final decision, making his share to be 60% yet again. As the source stated, this would allow him to have greater control over the winery compared to Angelina Jolie.
