It is no exaggeration to say Bradley Cooper was one of the best things about the franchise, as his role as the iconic Rocket Raccoon, truly changed the game for many people. In fact, his role popularized the character in Marvel as a mainstream character as well.

As noted above, Bradley Cooper lost to Cillian Murphy at the Oscars, but he didn’t let that bring him down. As seen in a clip making rounds online, Cooper made a surprise cameo appearance on the popular ABC sitcom Abbott Elementary, portraying himself.

While speaking to CBS News, Bradley Cooper talked about his longstanding love and fascination with Leonard Bernstein. The Marvel actor revealed that his fascination dates back to the time he watched Tom And Jerry and other cartoons as a kid.

It started with Tom and Jerry and Bugs Bunny as a kid, watching them conduct. And asking Santa Claus for a baton when I was about 8 or so, and then, just being obsessed with conducting.

There was a magical quality that you just do that, and sound comes out, you know, and that’s where it began. And it was just this incredible feeling of being a maestro, really.” 

Bradley Cooper will forever be lauded for his role in Maestro, even if he did not manage to win the Oscar, as he was still successful in winning a lot of hearts instead. In the end, that is what truly mattered to him.
