The Creed franchise which was the follow-up to Sylvester Stallone’s cult Rocky films, gained its own brand of popularity owing to Michael B. Jordan’s charismatic presence, along with the Italian Stallion’s aura as well. Creed 3 directed by, and starring Jordan along with Jonathan Majors, took this success one step further by receiving a lot of critical acclaim, while also ruling the box office.
The third installment though, did not feature the towering persona of the franchise’s talisman Stallone. With news that Michael B. Jordan is all set to direct a 4th film in the series, many fans have taken to social media to express their desire to see the Rocky superstar reprise his iconic role once more.

Fans Demand Sylvester Stallone’s Presence In Michael B. Jordan’s Creed 4
Creed 3 directed by Michael B. Jordan became a runaway success not just for its slickly choreographed fight scenes, but also for the intense on-screen rivalry between Jordan and Jonathan Majors. The critical and commercial success of the film has now prompted the Black Panther star to take the narrative forward through a 4th film.
Following this information, many netizens took to social media to express their pleasure after hearing about Creed 4. A few others also made a call-out to Sylvester Stallone, who was absent from Creed 3, to be included in the mix.

From the opinions of a section of the audience, it is evident that Sylvester Stallone is well and truly the face of the franchise. It now remains to be seen if Michael B. Jordan will tweak the narrative to bring back Rocky Balboa.

Michael B. Jordan’s vision for Creed 4
The big news coming in from Hollywood is the making of Creed 4, which will be directed by Michael B. Jordan. After the success of the 3rd installment in which the actor donned the director’s hat for the first time, Jordan is looking to expand on the universe once more. Producer Irvin Winkler confirmed that the film was in the works, and had a very good plot that would relate to audiences.
While there are no other details about the film from Jordan’s side at the moment, the Marvel star spoke about the franchise back in February 2023 and stated that Creed 4 was definitely being envisioned. Speaking to IGN, the actor elaborated on what his vision was for the film.
“I just want to expand the Creed-verse within reason, but definitely expect other things around Creed for sure,”
At present, the film is slated for a release in 2026 or 2027. There have also been opinions floating around about bringing back Sylvester Stallone into the mix once more. Time will tell if Jordan’s narrative will have the space for the Italian Stallion to reprise his cult character Rocky Balboa once again.
