It would seem though, that Spears’ opinions of him have changed amid rumors of him getting divorced with his wife, Jessica Biel, as well as the release of his new single, Selfish. Britney Spears Apologizes to Those She Condemned In Her Book

Britney Spears put up a post on her Instagram account where she spoke about the impact that her memoir, The Woman in Me, had on those who were mentioned. While this post was quickly deleted, Variety managed to acquire what the singer said on this matter. She started by addressing how the publishing of her book dragged the names of all that were mentioned in a negative light through the mud. This was the case as the world seems to have become extremely protective over the former singer.

“I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry,”

Spears apologized for this, stating that she never meant to hurt those who she mentioned and deeply cares about. She also added that she meant absolutely no offense to anyone when she was writing this book. It would seem that the singer had a very specific person in mind as she quickly switched the subject to talk about her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake.

Britney Spears then went on to talk about Justin Timberlake. More specifically, she spoke about his recent single, Selfish, stating that she loved this song and found it to be really good. “I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish.’ It is soo good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard ??? Ps ‘Sanctified’ is wow too.”

He also recently made an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show, where he performed his new song. Spears also spoke on this, praising him for how well he did here. The singer also added that she loves it when Timberlake and Fallon are sharing a screen, being hilarious together. While many would be prompted to read into this, this could, perhaps, simply be Spears trying to reach out to an old friend after years of growing up.
