That was easily by far the most painful but absolutely incredible episode of #TheMandalorian so far.
I had an idea of what was going to happen, but to see it all unfold as it did😭 Truly, Rick Famuyiwa went above and beyond and directed a phenomenal episode! #StarWars

In the episode, fans saw that Moff Gideon went to extreme lengths to capture The Mandalorian, while it was unclear why Gideon went to such lengths. Some fans speculate it was to satisfy his pride as Din Djarin defeated him in an earlier duel.
Whereas some fans believe that Djarin has a unifying factor for the other Mandalorians, as well as using him to get Grogu. And at one point fans believed our beloved Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin would die in the episode.
I really thought Din was going to be killed by Gideon in front of everyone. My heart was racing 😅

A fan was upset because Grogu who has been training for 2 years with Luke, merely walks around the entire episode. While Din Djarin was getting captured, he was a bystander as he did nothing.
I really dont understand Grogus role anymore tbh. 2 years training with Luke and he just walks around in a suit and then watches as Mando is captured like are we gonna sew him do something in the finale or is he just there for comic relief?

Another viewer stated that they were worried as the tension rose so much that they believed that there might be a shocking death or unforeseen turn of events.
Oh man see I was so freaking worried but like that was way less painful than everyone brought it out to be like I thought there was gonna be like a massive betrayal or a main character death, maybe I’m just too scarred from agents of shield and firefly

A Recap of The Events From Season 3 Episode 7 of The Mandalorian
The recent episode of The Mandalorian was filled with important events and it answered some questions of the viewers such as why Moff Gideon ordered his troops to attack Mandalore. Their queries were soon answered as the episode progressed, Moff Gideon explained that the purge of Mandalore disrupted the electromagnetic field of the planet, which meant that the planet can not be scanned from space.
The second important moment in the episode was when Gideon establishes his base around the Forge, as believed that the Forge is located near rich deposits of Beskar which Mandalorians mold into their armor pieces. And as a result laid a trap, where he captured the Mandalorians and Din Djarin.
Another heartbreaking moment in the episode was Paz Vizsla’s death. When Din Djarin was captured all the Mandalorians revolted against the Empire, and agreed that they will not surrender to them. Though they retreated from Gideon, Paz Vizsla learned that the forces against them are too big in numbers, and he must stop them for others to get a chance to escape. Since he has the greatest firepower among all the Mandalorians, he stayed back to help his fellow brothers escape.
And lastly, the fans of the Empire would be delighted to know that episode 7 marks the return of the Empire, as Moff Gideon is working with various Imperial Warlords. And each one of them would have a serious role, perhaps more than Moff Gideon. And with all these major events, it looks like the season finale would be a thrilling one.
