Fans of the saga are anticipating several elements from previous games, such as the famous numbers that haunted Mason. It appears that another protagonist might experience hallucinations, and you could see things that never actually happened in the story, making some parts of the narrative strange.

Activision Has Finally Listened to the Fans, and It Seems That Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Will Be Proof of This

After 2023, when the franchise released its worst game in history, fans were losing hope of having a title up to the task. But this seems to be changing with the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which promises many positive changes for the saga. Like previous installments, this new game will once again feature a story mode, created from scratch, as well as the classic zombie mode and conventional multiplayer.

Fans are more than excited to try the story mode, and a recent Reddit post revealed a couple of details speculated to appear in the game. This user posted what seems to be a hallucination that one of the game’s protagonists will experience.

This wouldn’t be the first time something like this happened; it occurred in the earlier titles of this Activision franchise saga. Mason was brainwashed by the Russians to commit acts that would change history forever.

One of the characters from the story of Black Ops Cold War, the 2020 game, continues to have remnants of what happened in that game. Black Ops 6 will be a direct sequel to this title, and Adler will reappear with moments that probably won’t be real, just as they happened to Mason in the original game of this saga.

There are some details in the story, but there are not many in-depth ones that talk about what each character will face in particular.

There are many rumors of betrayal within the government, leaving the characters practically on their own in this title with no one to trust. Additionally, a new protagonist will join the plot, who will be much younger and face the most complicated conspiracies following the Cold War. This title has already confirmed that it will take place in the 1990s, with everything that it entails in terms of weaponry.

Fans have many theories about what this game will include and what franchise characters will appear. Another familiar face that has already been confirmed is Frank Woods, a retired veteran who will help you with certain aspects of the story. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. Additionally, the game will debut on Game Pass from day one.

What are your thoughts on this possibility in the story? Let us know in the comments!

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
