Treyarch and Raven Software are bringing quite a number of new features with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, such as a new mechanic called Omnimovement. Omnimovement will allow players to sprint, slide, and dive in any direction and they can do it while firing their weapons.

However, the game is ditching looping scorestreaks as “traditional score streaks are back,” as per details revealed during the Call of Duty podcast. This means that the score streaks will reset and go to zero upon death, unlike in Cold War.

This is because the developer wants to “avoid scorestreak spam.” As per the developer, the score streak does not loop currently; however, there are chances that this may be subject to change according to player feedback.

With the early access beta and open beta dates now announced, players will be able to play the game nearly two months before the official launch. So if players are not happy with the traditional score streak, they can appeal it and hope that the developers are kind enough to bring back looping scorestreaks.

Players have said that the developers are already trying to compromise with the fun. Some have said that this decision should be changed, with one player adding that a decision like this could kill the game.

But some players do say that this will be a good balance and they are fine with it. Players will get a different experience with score streaks in Black Ops 6 compared to its predecessor.

While some may be onboard with this, the majority of the players do not seem fine with it and have slammed the developer. It remains to be seen what the players think after the beta, as that would be crucial in deciding if the looping scorestreaks are back in the game or not.
