The hype for Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is building, especially for the title’s upcoming single-player campaign in typical Treyarch Corporation fashion. Fans are appreciating it and are jumping on the hype train.

Apart from the upcoming title’s single-player, there are also other game modes that the players enjoy. Zombies has been one such game mode, especially after it returned in Modern Warfare 3. However, a recent leak suggests that this mode will be much less enjoyable in the upcoming title.

Black Ops 6 Zombies May Have an Operator-Based Format

Black Ops 6 seems to be doing well in low-key marketing, and fans are even discovering hidden information in the game’s marketing material. This means that the interest among fans has been piqued, and they are looking forward to what the game offers them.

However, there has also been a leak recently regarding the upcoming game’s Zombies mode, which looks more than unnerving for any Zombies enthusiast or Call of Duty Veteran. This is what was shared on X/Twitter.

For those unaware, Brutus was a zombie introduced in Black Ops 2 as a different zombie type. Klaus was a protector robot in the Black Ops Cold War. At the same time, operator skins based on the two characters who have appeared in previous games don’t do any harm.

Fans have read between the lines and feel Zombies will now have operators instead of crews.

Operators, usually associated with Multiplayer and Warzone, were brought to Zombies in the Dark Aether Saga, which began with Black Ops Cold War and has continued in every Treyarch Zombies mode.

Fans Aren’t Happy With Operators Returning in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies

Call of Duty Zombies needs crews again for it to be what it once was.

Black Ops 6 is all set to launch on Game Pass on Day 1; in the meantime, fans are speculating what the upcoming title will offer. This also involves leaks that are being posted on social media by leakers.

The leaks have also compelled fans to react and express their displeasure with the returning format in the game mode mainly because operators returning would imply that there will be little to no concrete story in Zombies.

For example, when a post on X was made asking fans if they wanted Operators or Crews, this is what they had to say.

While people stated they wanted a mix of crews and operators or crews with a bit of customizability, crews were always part of their request. The studio should allow switching between crews and operators or doing things old-fashioned with crews and a solid story.

What are your thoughts on all of this? How would you like the upcoming game’s Zombie mode to be? We would love to know your thoughts in the comments section below!
