Since the reports of COD 2024, there have been several rumors and leaks about the game and what it would bring, and players are excited. A new report has now surfaced and suggests that Gulf War will be bringing back one feature that Modern Warfare 3 took from the fans.

The Modern Warfare reboot has brought back several things from the original titles, and players have appreciated the developers. However, 2023’s COD MW3 removed the custom reticle feature that players have loved in the titles, and players have been pleading for its return.

It turns out that their wishes will be answered in this year’s COD entry. According to a leak by an X/Twitter user, custom reticles will be returning to the title. The user shared a picture that showed nine different types of reticles in red, yellow, and green colors, which the players will be able to customize as per their wishes.

Players have reported that reticle signs have a bad frame of view or cluster when players use ADS while playing. They have also been saying that if not for customization options, developers should have kept the feature in MW3 for accessibility, and the feature will finally return in the next entry.

Fans have positively reacted to this report and said that after a wait of years, it has finally happened. One player said that it’s “crazy” that the feature was removed and should have always been in the game. Another player said that it’s good to see the franchise returning to its Black Ops era. The feature was available in the Cold War, and it’s only fair that developers bring it back now.

Regardless of the lack of any official confirmation about the upcoming rumored COD title, several leaks have revealed details of the game. A leak stated that the Zombies mode will have several resource stations that will allow players to equip perks, upgrade weapons, repair armor, and craft gear, and also increase loadout weapons damage.

The resource stations are said to be called Perk Machines, Der Wunderfizz, Pack-a-Punch, Tool Grinder, Arsenal, and Crafting Table. It is also said that Dark Aether portals will be returning in the upcoming game. A spy camera is also said to be added that will be used as tactical equipment, but it remains to be seen if it is the same one as seen in Modern Warfare 2.

Some weapons from MW2 and MW3 are also rumored to be available in the game, but it is not certain how much of this is true. Fans are advised to take this with a pinch of salt and wait for official details from the developers and Activision.
