Streamer Nadeshot has taken to social media to give his views on the current state of the gaming industry, and he did not pull his punches. Perhaps best known as a former professional Call of Duty player, the American, whose real name is Matthew Haag, made his views abundantly clear on the subject matter.
It’s not the first time that the views of the community have been brought up in a negative light, and it will no doubt not be the last either. However, listening to the streamer’s comments, he quite rightly identifies what he feels the issue is with the state of gaming as it currently stands.
Nadeshot Shoots Some Truth About the Gaming Industry
In a recent Twitch stream, which was shared by Hunter Grooms via his X page, the former Call of Duty Champion addressed how bizarre it is that people are tearing down games.
"For some reason, everybody in the gaming community wants games to fail"

The former Call of Duty Champion addressed how bizarre it is that people are tearing down games. He cited XDefiant as an example of this, and maybe the most telling statement from him was the following: “For some reason, everybody in the gaming community wants games to fail”.
He went on to say that if it continues, then it may stop investment in games, and the result will be no new games being developed. There was a substantial response to the streamers comments, and the majority of them were not in agreement. Many people chose to highlight the issues with the current state of the industry and offer their own thoughts.
He's missing "how" gaming has evolved.

AAA games used to be content complete in the 00s.
Now, nearly EVERY AAA game is a chopped up buggy mess and it's obvious how financially focused publishers are.
Indie games miss this entirely are are loved because they echo older eras.
Some of which had a more comedic response to the comments from Nadeshot.
You're telling me I was supposed to be excited about this? You're telling me I want these games to continually be made like this? To suck it up?

Come on, buddy.
Come oooooon.
Sitting on our hands as games continue to suck sure will improve the industry, I bet. pic.twitter.com/IpQ9EUkIGF
It’s clear from these comments that some fans have less patience with the current crop of games that are being released and would rather see studios take the time to make a complete game. As opposed to some titles, which are subject to patches as soon as a game launches.
Fans Continue to Trash Pre and Post-release Games
While there are those in the industry who continue to trash games that are currently available, it is the games that have not yet been released that are subject to these views, which are slightly unfair. There is plenty that can change in the run-up to release, and to dismiss a game without ever playing it seems ridiculous.
There has been some discontent from fans with leaks for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which is due for release on October 25. Unfortunately, this is to be expected given the popularity of the franchise, and with how often a game is released, it will perhaps see more scrutiny than others.
It’s clear that there are many in the community who take pleasure in trashing games both pre-release and post-release and it must be disheartening for developers to hear the comments with all the work they put in. Unfortunately, with social media becoming more prevalent it gives people a platform to make themselves heard, no matter what their views are.
