Call of Duty: Warzone is currently in Season 4, which has added a bunch of new content to the game. There is still time for Season 5, but Season 4 Reloaded will soon arrive at the end of this month, and players are looking forward to what this update might bring for them.
The Reloaded update usually brings new weapons, multiplayer maps, or Zombies content, but it seems like this time will be a little different. There have been reports that a Warzone map might be destroyed in the upcoming mid-season update, and fans don’t know what to make of it.
The Upcoming Update May Bring a Big Change in Call of Duty Warzone
Raven Software has not yet revealed what the mid-season update will bring to the game, but if a recent leak is to be believed, the developer might have some big changes planned. According to a new leak, the popular Warzone map, Urzikstan, may be destroyed with the next season update.
This leak comes from renowned Call of Duty leaker Crashfty, who has leaked several things related to the game in the past. The leaker added that it does not mean that the game will get a new map in Season 5, as Urzikstan is getting destroyed and players should not get their hopes up for a map.

Crashfty also mentioned that the map will not be destroyed completely, but a majority of it will be when the mid-season update goes live on June 26. This launch date for the update is from the battle pass details, and Raven Software has not yet been confirmed, but it soon may be announced.
This has left many fans wondering what the map will look like after the update arrives and how it could affect the upcoming seasons of this cycle. Although the majority of the fans are excited about their hopes of returning to Verdansk in Season 5, nothing can be said for certain as of now.
What Does the Urzikstan Map Getting Destroyed Mean for Warzone?
This leak of Urzikstan potentially getting destroyed comes after the last chapter of the Warzone, when the elite operators got hold of a chemical weapon, and it is possible that the weapon is detonated, destroying the map or parts of it, as many speculate, making changes to the map.
There have been changes to the map in the past, as well as some areas of Al Mazrah, Caldera, and Verdansk maps that were changed before Caldera and Verdansk were destroyed at the end of the Black Ops Cold War cycle. It is possible that this change is made, seeing as Black Ops 6 nears launch.
The Season 4 roadmap mentioned POI changes, and players have said that only the powerplant may be getting destroyed. This gives some credibility to the leak, but it still can’t be confirmed what the developer has planned, and players need to wait for Raven Software to reveal more information.
