Compared to the beloved Naruto Shippuden, it has higher expectations, but much like any long-running series, Shippuden made many blunders even though it was one of the greatest anime shows ever. If Broruto Two Blue Vortex is to emerge from Naruto’s shadow, it has to maintain the fan’s attention, be consistent, and steer clear of plot traps.

The Filler Arc Dilemma

Although filler arcs are one of the most annoying aspects of a series, they are occasionally required for weekly anime and manga series like Naruto in order to give the writers sufficient time to concentrate on the main plot’s artwork and story. Many viewers were disappointed since the fillers in Naruto were not significant it involved funny scenes or fan service.

In order to keep the storyline moving along smoothly, Boruto should take a cue from other popular series like Jujutsu Kaisen and Bleach and release the anime in story arcs. If not, the series may be halted earlier than anticipated, much like Black Clover

Taming the Power Creep

In addition to its story, Naruto Shippuden is renowned for its spectacular combat sequences, which include the expertly choreographed ones between Madara and everyone, Itachi and Sasuke, and Minato and Obito. But as the series came to a close, many battle sequences were shown off as power creeps, and instead of focusing on strategic skill, the fight scenes were all about who could use greater jutsu.

Despite how exciting and entertaining the power-ups are to watch, the show is really about cunning ninjas, which is why we fell in love with Naruto in the first place. Although Bruto has done a fantastic job and kept this balance by using their tactical prowess to fight the most formidable enemies, they must continue to do so throughout the series.

Plot Loopholes: A Ninja’s Worst Enemy

Though Shippuden is regarded as one of The Big Three from the Golden Age, it has its fair share of plot flaws. The show has a lot of unexplained incidents, contradictions, and unanswered riddles. In order to avoid a similar fate, Boruto must prioritize the plot.

Rather than depending on nostalgia or bringing back characters from the first series, fans will want to see it lay the groundwork for future adventures. This method was misused by Boruto Next Generation in their time-traversing arc, which was a mistake. Another example was the arc of Jiraya’s clone Kashin Koji, which was handled well. Fans value a well-written narrative above clumsy throwbacks.

Side Characters Deserve Spotlight

Many of the characters in Shippuden were hyped up from the beginning and were therefore not utilized very much, such as Shino Aburamem, Ten-Ten, and Rock Lee. Boruto must learn from this error and continue to explore the arcs of side characters such as Metal Lee, Inojin, and Cho-Cho after their original humor stories.

Although it is still too early to show off the side characters’ development in the most recent chapters of Boruto, they must find a way to integrate their fate into the main storyline or risk overshadowing these characters. A series like Brouto with a large cast would make it challenging to keep things balanced, but a strong cast gives the universe more nuance and draws viewers in.
