Helldivers 2’s meta-narrative has taken another twist this week after all the soldiers failed to complete the last Major Order, which required killing a staggering two billion bots. While on the surface, players didn’t get to unlock the Anti-Tank Mines, there are much worse ramifications that are currently unfolding. We’re heading into the Second Galactic War.
Super Earth currently wants new front-line troops to keep the enemies at bay. While the community prepares for what’s coming next, many feel that the real enemy all along has been the game’s server problems.
Helldivers 2 Players Need Stable Servers Before Another War
It’s no surprise that the Major Order failed, given that Arrowhead had already warned players that it had fixed a bug that caused the previous Major Order to be completed quite quickly. Sure, we’ll eventually get the Anti-Tank Mines Stratagem, and the next Galatic War is on the horizon, but the real enemy is the game’s server situation.
Many players in the Helldivers 2 community are fed up with the constant server issues plaguing their experience. While it was forgivable for the first one or two months after the game’s debut, players are now voicing their disappointment after facing constant server issues.

It’s no secret that Helldivers 2 has faced server issues since its release. The developers have worked tirelessly to address these issues, but fans still face problems
Alongside fixing the server issues, many players in the community want the locked countries to be liberated and allowed to dive back into the game to help with the upcoming war.
i just want to see the list of counties unable to play go down, unstable servers, broken weapons, crap armor, i can deal with, but this is war and we need more soldiers.

Players are also frustrated by the constant issues and crashes and want Arrowhead to fix these problems before implementing anything major in the game.
Maybe 7 more patches will stop game killing bugs and crashes. Doubt it

Arowhead’s aggressive approach to weapon balancing in the game has been quite controversial. Many community members have stated that the studio’s balancing decisions are absolutely atrocious.
Can we not nerf weapons every other week, though?

It’s clear that the Helldivers 2 community still isn’t satisfied with the state of the game’s servers and other issues interrupting their galactic experience. Hopefully, Arrowhead will iron out these problems before we dive into the Second Galactic War.
We Might See Illuminate and Cyborgs in Helldivers’ 2 Upcoming Galatic War
Servers issues aside, one of the biggest questions in the community right now is how exactly the Second Galactic War will escalate in Helldivers 2. The Automatons have proven their strength from time to time, and the Terminid are also spreading quite quickly, with tunnels pointing towards the comeback of Hive Lords. However, it seems far more dangerous things are on the horizon than the two factions in the game.
Automatons currently hold Cyberstand, which is the home of their original creators, the Cyborgs. These used to be Super Earth citizens who left the planet and pledged to destroy the government. With the planet currently habited by clankers, we will likely see Cyborgs join the fight soon.
Unfortunately, that’s not the worst thing. Players have sighted ships and blue lasers, hinting at the arrival of the Illuminate. At one point, they offered Super Earth a treaty to bring peace. However, our government declined their offer and continued its fight. It’s said that the Illuminate were wiped out by 2184, but that doesn’t look to be true.
With Terminid and Automatons already on the battlefield and new forces possibly joining soon, the Second Galactic War will be pretty challenging.
