Talking about one of the movies that he rejected, Stallone shared that the film was expected to follow two undercover cops disguised as women to enter the world of femme fatales to investigate a serial killer. The actor, however, did not seem too amused with the idea. He said,

“The second was about a pair of undercover cops that had to go into the world of femme fatales – by dressing in wigs and dresses – to expose a serial killer. Can you imagine us two mugs trying to pass ourselves off as even semi-attractive women?”

Stallone suggested that the attempt to present themselves as “semi-attractive women” would have likely been unsuccessful or comically unattractive. “You’d be better off drawing a face on the south end of a north-bound bulldog,” he said, talking about the proposed movie idea.

One of the Movies’ Pitch Was Based on Sylvester Stallone’s Real-Life Altercation

Sylvester Stallone has admitted that the relationship between him and Arnold Schwarzenegger was not the best initially, stating that they “really disliked each other immensely” for over two decades. This has also been attributed to the reason the two actors didn’t star in too many projects together.

However, The Expendables star has revealed that several efforts were made to bring them together on screen. Apart from the femme fatales movie idea, he also recalled getting another offer to work with Schwarzenegger that was based on a real-life altercation Stallone had with his neighbor.

He shared that the movie was pitched by the filmmaker John Hughes and followed two neighbors who were determined to destroy each other with relentless back-and-forth every day. “It was based on an incident that actually happened with me and a neighbor,” he said during the interview. However, it also did not work out and the film was eventually canceled.
