The movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Justin K. Thompson, and Kemp Powers. Thompson talked about how many spider people will be seen in the movie as the story of the film will be involving a massive number of spider people. Many spider people have a significant role in the film that will be played by lead actors. Shameik Moore will be playing the role of Miles Morales, the British actor Daniel Kaluuya will portray the character of Spider-Punk, Oscar Isaac will be seen as Miguel O’Hara, and Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker.

Thompson was asked about how many spider-people will be spotted in the movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. He also said they kept adding many spider-people because of the movie’s demand until they wrapped up the movie. In his statement regarding the spider-people in the movie, Thompson said,

“The exact number? Oh boy, we kept adding, like all the way up until the very end. Honestly, I’m gonna be level with you, we just finished the film, like in the last like two weeks, and I don’t think I’ve had time to pause and actually take a final count. But I think it was about 280 the last time I looked in.”

He further added,

“Just to be clear, that doesn’t mean specific, unique characters that you might recognize, it might mean variations as well. But if you’re just talking about named characters, then I think there’s probably about 95.”

Fans are even more curious and excited about the upcoming Spiderman film now that Thompson has stated that there will be approximately 280 spider-people.
