Industry Insider Reveals Capcom’s Effort to Revive Dino Crisis After Successful Resident Evil Remakes
You heard correctly. Dino Crisis is one of the standouts in the Super Elections survey, where Capcom polls people about the series they want to see sequels or remakes of. Well, this survival horror and action-adventure series that made waves in the 2000s hasn’t been seen for about 21 years. Something is about to change here.
Jeff Grubb, one of the most reliable sources in the gaming business, claimed that the Japanese studio was considering the creation of a new Dino Crisis game. In fact, he said that it’s something it is actively doing. Furthermore, he also points out that he would not be surprised if this were the case and an addition arrived.
Grubb’s claim aligns with players’ expectations and reveals that the studio’s purpose in conducting this survey was to probe fan interest. Unfortunately, we still do not know whether the alleged game will be a sequel or a remake, like in the Resident Evil series.
Despite all of these, we have not yet received confirmation from the studio for a potential comeback or anything of the sort. However, folks believe that this series, just like Dead Rising, deserves another shot. Finally, until an official announcement is made, it’s wise to take all of this with a grain of salt.
