Harrison Ford is all set to play the Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World
In 2022, actor William Hurt, who portrayed Thaddeus Ross in the MCU, passed away after suffering from prostate cancer. Later that year, Variety confirmed that actor Harrison Ford will be replacing Hurt in the MCU. The fourth Captain America movie follows the events of the 2021 Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, who is now the new Captain America of the franchise.
At the SBIFF 2024, actor Mark Ruffalo seemingly confirmed that he would appear in the film, however, Variety later released a report claiming that the actor would not be appearing in the film. Apart from Mackie, Nelson, and Ford, Captain America: Brave New World will feature Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Shira Haas, and Liv Tyler. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres in the United States on February 14, 2025, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
