Jude Law shared during an interview that working alongside famous actors like Matt Damon and Gwyneth Paltrow has highlighted his performance in the movie, The Talented Mr. Ripley, which became his breakout performance. During the filming of the movie Law was just new to the industry and he gained a fair share of fame and recognition from it.
Jude Law is an English actor most known for playing the primary antagonist in the MCU’s Captain Marvel as well as portraying Dr. Watson in the Sherlock Holmes film series. Law began his acting career in theatres before moving on to Hollywood, where he gradually gained recognition for modest and supporting parts.

Gwyneth Paltrow, a world-class actor who has had a very successful Hollywood career is most popularly known for her starring in the MCU as Pepper Potts. Apart from her acting career, the actress is a very successful businesswoman and is widely acclaimed in the entertainment industry.
“I had to play this guy who was the focus of almost every scene and yet I was there with Matt and with Gwyneth, so I was a little nervous that here was this guy who had not done that many films having to use his bravado. I rather relished that to be honest, it was quite a good way of getting rid of nerves, just sort of riding them.”
Jude Law shared during an interview that The Talented Mr. Ripley was his first major film and he was pretty nervous throughout the whole filming process of the movie. He went on to claim that the sole reason why the movie achieved such widespread recognition was due to the heavy performers and performances of the star cast, Matt Damon and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Law added that although the role he played was one of the leading characters and was constantly on-screen, a major portion of the pressure was relieved from him as his co-stars carried it for him. The movie went on to earn $128.8 million at the worldwide box office with the movie receiving five Academy Award nominations, Law was nominated for one of those.
Jude Law’s Upcoming Venture into Star Wars: Skeleton Crew
A very little information has been shared about the series, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, but Jon Watts and author Christopher Ford have provided some details about the upcoming show. They claimed that the show focuses on some 10-year-olds and their journey to find their way back home. It will occur in the same era as the proposed Ahsoka and The Mandalorian series, immediately following the events of Return of the Jedi.

Jude Law’s character’s specifications as well as the show’s performers are being kept a secret but the show will be accessible on Disney+ sometime around 2023.
